San José, Costa Rica enjoys a moderate tropical climate with temperatures ranging between 15.5°C (60°F) and 27°C (80°F) throughout the year. The average high temperature in San José is around 24°C (75°F) while the average low temperature is 16°C (61°F). However, temperatures can occasionally drop as low as 12°C (54°F) at night during the cooler months.The hottest months in San José are March and April when the average high temperature can reach up to 27°C (81°F). The coldest months are December and January when the average high temperature can drop to 22°C (72°F).
